CCLA FALL Meeting updateSep. 19, 2011 The CCLA FAll meeting was held on Sept 18th at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. The major news for the Pitt program is that due to the departure of Michigan (NCAA D1) and Ball State, there will not be a divisional breakdown within the CCLA D1 for the coming season. It will be a single conference of 6 D1 teams- Pitt, MSU, Ohio U, Toledo, Central Michigan, and Western Michigan. Top 4 teams will advance to the CCLA conference finals to be held 4-6 May 2012. Davenport University was approved to make the jump from D2 to D1 in 2013 season. Pitt will host Davenport on October 9th at 12 noon for some great fall ball action. After Davenport, the Panthers will play at WVU on 16 October, travel to Grove City for our annual fall clash on 28 October, host Cincinnatti and Slippery Rock of the NCLL on 6 Novemeber, then wrap fall ball up with an alumni event on 12 Novemeber. HAIL TO PITT!
