PITT Lacrosse Game Day: Davenport

On Sunday, October 9th, defending MCLA Division 2 National Champion Davenport University visits the University of Pittsburgh for PITT's second game of their fall-ball schedule.  The game will be played in the Cost Center on the PITT campus.  Doors open at 11:00 AM, and the game is set to begin at 12:00PM.

The Davenport University Panthers see a team that lost only a few members from their 2011 championship roster that ended the season with an 18-5 record.  Most notably their leading goal scorer and 2011 MCLA 1st team All-American Shawn Beers, was lost to graduation, but their team returns two major threats at attack in junior Jordan Richtsmeier (41G, 67A in 2011) and sophomore Dominic Boggiano (53G, 40A).  Davenport also looks to return many key components as they build their team this Fall/off season as the look to defend their title in 2012

Admission to the PITT vs. Davenport game is free, but you may have to pay for parking ($5-10).  Come early and bring a chair as seating is limited.
